I feel that this poster is succesful. Rhythm is presented through the repatition of the crayn's and through the repatition of color. I also feel that the crans lead your eye down the poster all the way to the message down below. Although the poster is ultimatly dominated by the black color, it works. The lightness of the crans and the boldness of the white space below give a feeling of equilibrium. This poster is bold and catches your attention.
I believe that this poster has an interesting layout. I liked the distortion of the crayons however at first I did not see the corrolation between crayons and supporting gay marriage. Then after further thought I was lead to believe that this could be symbolic for it being ok to draw outside the lines when everyone else draws in them but im still not sure if i am correct. The rhetorical question at the bottom is very persuasive. Also the two male symbols at the bottom help to demonstrate that it is a poster that is supporting gay marriage. I believe that this was a key part to the poster and if it was left out the poster would be lost.
I believe this is one of the strongest posters on here. the slogan and the use of the different colors gets the point across and tells you whats its talking about. the image of the crayons is unique with the disorientation used, and it balances alright with the colors on the bottem. i still think there is a slight balence problem with the text against the large picture, but the overall design is phenomenal.
