T.J i understand what your trying to persuade the reader. It is rather obvious that "anything is possible". Your little monologue from No-before is an interesting thing to read. Problem is would i stand there long enough to read it? I would, but others who knows. I think this would be a lot stronger if you used some of those typography skills, like letterspacing, leading, capitals versus lower case, anything but just typing it. It does have a strong message though, that anything is possible, i disagree with you but that's beyond the point. I think you should try it again, tweak it a bit and see if you like it. nice job
I agree with clay. using more of your typograpghy skills would have made this poster a lot stronger. Also the point of the project was to make and effective persuasive poster which i do not think was acomplished. There was nothing on this poster to make the reader want to stop and read the poster, probably due to the fact that there was too much writing on your poster. you should have used less words to get your message through effectively and clear. i like the message of the poster but there was little dominace and poor spacial organization mostly below the "anything is possible". overall i think this poster could have been a lot stronger with a little more work.
This has to be my favorite one. The minute I saw this the text caught my eye and i just had to read what all the text said after that. The balance of the text use works, the black background really contrasts with the rest if the piece and makes all the text stand out more. The size of the colored text makes the words jump out at you. The rhythm of this piece flows nicely, your eyes follow through the whole piece nicely. The use of the white text for everything but "anything is possible" shows good rhytm thorugh the piece. Overall, I feel that this poster was successful.

I as well as Clay think that you have too many words relating to too many things going on. the colors fit well though if you would have looked back at Capone's typography skills it would be excellent... All in all i believe that this is a fairly strong piece of persuasion but i like the idea very much so.
Your poster is a great topic that you choose to address. The color choices for "Anything is possible" was great and well thought out. I think though, if some how you could have incorporated a picture of some sort, it would have enhanced the quality and effectivness of your poster.
The message of this poster is great, but it desperately needs an image. The goal of a persuasive poster is to attract viewers, and text alone does not accomplish this goal, at least in this situation. There is not realy any dominant element. The text does not stand out in this situation because of the black background. There is also way too many words- the message should be short and concise. In addition, there needs to be more spacial organization- the poster looks flat. However, he placement of the text does create a rhytmic element.
