It's a good idea. The faded tree stump works. The text font and color doesn't go with the idea. The picture in front of the faded stump is too busy and takes away from the rest of the poster. I would suggest using only one picture, because either of the two could work, but both do not.

I think your persuasive poster is a good design. Some things that you might want to think about would be the use of the red and blue. those colors have an american feel to them, and this cause is happening all around the world. a green color would have been better to show the environmental feel i think you were going for. i like the picture of the tree in the background but with the other picture covering it up, it was hard to see and almost too much. One thing that really caught my attention was the text in the bottom. I like the idea of giving the people options on how to help. Your point definantely came across. I think with a little more manipulation of the text colors, and the removal of the picture, your layout would be very strong.
