This is a very strong persuasive poster, it gives a bold meaning to it and it's not very hard to point out what it's trying to persuade you to do. There is a good balance of light and dark through-out the picture, which balances out the white text with the black background. But I think the text would stand out more if you put it all on top with the black background. The proportions are good, but I do think the graves are maybe too big. If you made them smaller the negative space might make this persuasive poster more appealing. Overall it's not that bad, if you changed a few things it would stand out a lot more. But, it does get the point across. :D
Overall, this poster portrays the message only somewhat well. There is a good rhythm and balance, but the problem lies in the slogan, more specifically the difficulty it is to understand that slogan. On a more positive note, there is a sufficient rhythm and balance due to the use of two grave stones instead of possibly only one. This also makes the message more comprehendible because it is helping to clarify how the picture relates to the overall theme. I also quite enjoyed that the word “drink” is contrasted in color by making it red. This helped with the message as well, being that there are negative emotions warranted from the color red. In general, very good poster. Though the slogan threw me off a bit, great message and job of portraying it.
this is a direct poaster telling us what not to do. But i think it is portrayeded ina poor way. it is a very dark picture with mostly gray and black. i do like the text but the placemant could have ehh been better. also i think the slogan could have been said bettter another way. it is to original. this is a bad poaster
This poster is definitely able to send across a very strong message. The red word really stands out and is very dominate against the white words making a very bold statement. The composition is great- the tombstones really allow the message to be as meaningful as possible, the black sky in the background as well creates a lot of emotion for the poster. The composition of everything just really flows well and I think that everything really comes together.
