I think that you did a very good job with creating this persuasive poster. It apeals to emotion with the father soldier hugging his daughter. I also like the idea that you chose for you persuasive poster. I felt that the picture of the Soldier and his daughter was the most dominant part of you piece. I felt that unity was achieved. I felt that the rythem of you poster was okay but the croping of the dominant image did not flow very well. Equilibrium or balance was achieved. You balanced out the text by using white and black text and overall it is balanced well. I felt that the proportion was okay. The image of the soldier was alittle too big compared to the flag in my opinion. the spatial organization was excellent. Their are varying levels between the flag, the people, and the text. I think for the composition that the main thing that contributed to my expression of this poster which is that it was sucessful is the appeal to emotion.

i think that this poster. i think it is succesful because of its dominatin object, the hugging daughter and father. This is the dominating peice because of it's central location in the poster. I believe that the rythym of the poster is a liitle off. i think this because there are no elements on the poster that are repeated. Also, the flags outline is so sharp that it acts as a barrier when you try to flow throughout. Balance was achieved in this poster. i think that because the writting at the top of the page offsets the bottom lettering well. i think that the top should be ain a bolder font so it balances it even more. Because the two people are in the middle, it acts as a focal point to the poster and doesnt't affect the balance.
The porportions are somewhat off in the poster. I think that the people are too big compared to the flag. if i were the author i would have watermarked the backround and made it bigger so that it was in correct porportion to the people.
Spatial depth is one part of the poster that i believed the artist failed at. I believe this because the poster onlty has one layer, and because of the differnt tones, the peices of the work do not look unified.
I believe that the overall impression of the work is good. I like how the author used an american flag to try to insinuate how bringing our troops home is patriotic. i also like how She used a litlle girl to gain sympathy with a veiwer.
