Haha, Billy looks funny in this one. I think this is a successful poster. It gets the message across nicely, and it actually persuaded me. I like how you used san serif font, because it makes the project look more serious, and the death penalty is a very serious issue. I also like how you used threshold instead of color for the image. It makes Billy look lifeless, especially with the whiteness in his face. The large font at the top and the image at the bottom create a nice balance. Maybe you could have done something different with the caption above the image, but that might have made it look too busy. Overall this is a successful poster.
this was my overall favorite. i think you got the point across very well with the font choice. But i think you should have gone a little further with the picture. Even though its murder not killing, i still think it makes sense and works. so veryy good job! (10)
i think that the overall poster is really good. The message your trying to show is clear. I think it's a little dull just using black and white and little color could be used. I like the way the picture is "winded" around the edges, it adds to the effect of death. I believe the spacing and font were used well, they all mix well together. The picture is the most dominating aspect of the piece, but it's good because then everyone knows what the posters about. Also the black border is excellent. Great job
This is a cool poster, it caputures attention and its pretty simple which makes it appealing
This poster is very successful in conveying its message. The use of black and white (lack of color) creates the impression of death. The smudging creates the feeling of the man "fading away" from life. The font is another element that creates the feeling of death. This is all without the impression of it being cheesy- it looks as if it was done professionally. This is probably due to the strength of the composition and balance. The only criticism I have of this poster is that the second phrase is not needed. The message would have been more effective had it ended at "...revenge"
