I think that the color that is used in the background reall atracts to younger girls, and i feel that, that is where you are goign with that. the sliding down of the words feels like looking up it feels really good. overall i feel that it is really good and atracts to the people that she is aiming for. but i dont really like how the pictrs are just there.

The idea of the text There are more people who look up to you than you think is a successful use of vocabulary and definitely convicting to those who are smokers/drug users. There are a couple of things that would make this further persuasive. The font use isn't my favorite primarily due to the fact that it does not achieve the inherent and serious nature of the teen girl's effect on those who look to her as a role-model. I'm not sure which font was used, possibly a Veranda; however a thicker font like Impact, Arial Black, Cooper, etc. Possible boldness or italics would also help. My last criticism would be that I would have really liked to see the boy who appears in this photo to have his head tilted looking up towards the girl. A bit of an angle would go a long ay but 30-40 degrees wouldn't hurt.
Although there are some critical aspects of this, there are also many positives. My favorite thing (past the actual quotation) of this entire poster is the color change to the work 'think'. I absolutely love the subliminal message of thinking when it comes to such situations as smoking and drug use. Another thing I appreciate about this work is the background. It is not often that I would comment on the effective nature of someone's background in a poster such as this, but the choice of color along with the stylized gradient and almost lattice like work truly bring the idea of the innocence of a child influenced by what would be assumed to be an older family member.
With a bit of work this would be awesome as I feel some of the other works I've seen from you throughout the year are, but for now I would have to say it isn't you best. The simplicity is superb, if only the font choice and picture placement was more effective.
