I like the overall look of it. I like how you put the babies hand reaching out and how the phrase at the top catches the emotion of the picture. I think that the message does get across.
hi colleen :) i really like the composition of your poster, its very eye appealing. i like the font choice you used for "reaching for" it seems kind of cheerful. i also like the font choice for life, but i think it's a little too bold. it kind of takes away from the idea of the baby being alive. the picture you chose was good, but i think it might take someone a little bit to figure out what the picture is. i understood because i am sitting next to you, but if you did this poster again, i would suggest picking maybe a different picture. i also liked how you used black as your background and then had the picture seem like it was part of the background, however you should have made the edges of the photo fit better into the background. they look a little choppy. overall, i think you did a really great job, and i like this layout.
Colleen, I think your poster looks extremely professional and is well done. The picture is scary, to be honest, especially to me because I am kind of squeamish, but it definately gets the point across. People don't realize that it's a person they're killing, and this picture gets your point across one hundred percent. The black background makes the photograph stand out and draws the viewer in, wondering what exactly the picture is. The text is placed appropriately, but the only thing I have a problem with is the "Reaching for". I think this font is a little off. It seems almost whimsical, which is not the right mood I don't think. I don't know if the bottom font is the same as "Reaching for" but if not, maybe change them to be the same as the bottom font. It seems a bit less lighthearted, but they could be the same. Nice job.
