This is a very well done composition. It gets the point across, and the text is bold and strong just like the point your trying to prove. However the floating head bothers me. The way it is positioned in the middle isn't bad, also the way you tried to blur it so it isn't so harsh. The colors are vibrant, but you need to do something the floating head so that part doesn't seem so odd about everything.

I agree with the poster above me. The head seems... misplaced. Perhaps using more than one soldier throughout the poster or use a lead in and have half of his head running off the page so as to make you feel as there is more to it than meets the eye. You generally run into problems when you center things because there is so much negative space around it that it's effectiveness in inhibited. Besides the head, it is a great design. The editing you did to get the head there in the first place is commendable. The way the head fades into the flag that is already blured is a neat effect to keep your eyes moving. An altogether good design, just work on that head a little.

i like this one alot because i really like the topic and this poster is very effective and shows alot with very little. this poster is strong and gets the point across. one thing to change might be the bold colors. you could make them still bright and bold, but not as bright as they are.

The composition of this photo is very strong with the bold color contrast of the flag in the background and the soldier. I especially like the drop shadow that was added to the words that help exagerate the text. I also agree with the the previous comments on that the face looks unnatrual just floating in the poster.
