I think this is a very strong persuasive poster. The message is portrayed clearly, and it is obvious of the artists opinion. They overall poster is balanced through text and pictures. The artist also created dominance in their poster. The baby and the gun in the picture apppear to be the dominant part causing the eye to draw attenition to that first. Overall i think this a good compostion because it estalblishes a feeling and idea of his opinion in a way that is easy for the reader to underestand.
The imaged used here is way to powerful and actually overpowers the subject of abortion that some may find very offensive. It is also not your own work and you didnt use photoshop to really make an image that was unique and you own. I think it has a lot more potiental and you could have gone way father especially when it came to the picture used. After all the tecniques we learned in photoshop, i think you could have definitly applied some of the tecniques here.
I think that this was a good poster message-wise, but the design could have been better. I think the person could have used more tools from photoshop to improve the composition of the piece. At first, the viewers attention is drawn immediatley to the gun pointed at the baby in the direct center of the photo. Then the negative space pulls them back upwards toward the text at the top of the page. The red text creates a strong message, pointing out that "Abortion is murder."
Overall, I think the poster's message was very strong, through the letters in all caps at the bottom, and the gun pointed at the baby. I just think they could have done more with maybe a background or other text effects.
I felt that this poster was very well made and strongly expresses the creators views and opinion. Using the gun pointed at the little baby it really gives you the feeling that abortion is a bad thing. I think that that is very good. The Dominant part of this imiage is definatly the gun. With using the gun in you poster that is now the major focal point of your project. I think that unity was achieved and that you did a great job of portraying dominance. The rythem of the poster is flows very well and their are little sharp breaks in the poster which is good. The balance is also achieved with the use of different color texts and centeriong the text in an interesting way. The Proportion pretty good but for some reason i get the feeling the the comparison to the gun to baby is kinda off. It think that the main qualities that contribute to the overal look is definatly the negutive portrayal of abortion with the gun. Good job!
This is a strong poster and is straight to the point and cleary shows its statemnt. I think that is what you need because its something that can capture your interest and be understood on sight without having to really focus and think. The layout is actually very simple but it works better than if it was cluttered.
All in all this is a good poster. you used spacial organization to your advantage and everything is clear. the message is very clear and i like the comedic point of view. i think you could improve it overall but it is good for what you were trying to get at. proportion is decent but i think you needed something on the right to balance off the left of your poster more. the baby and the gun are the focal point of this poster which leads you to the point you are getting across. all in all good postern
i think that this a very persuasive poster. Clearly most people would not kill a little baby as represented in the poster and i feel that the positioning and use of negative space was effective. Sure there could have been a little more done but all in all it is well done
